Bring out your inner movie star, as we lead you through a jam-packed day of dance, craft and games. With the chance to dip their toes into a range of different styles, your child will leave with a whole lot of combos and skills under their belt, as well as a stage ready routine to perform for you all!
Maybe they saw Contemporary at the concert and liked the look of it?! Or maybe they have always wanted to try Hip Hop?! Maybe you’re looking to add another style for 2023?! 
Whatever it is, our Hornsby School Holiday Workshop has got you sorted! Plus with a range of movie star activities, games and craft scattered throughout the day; you can rest assured that your child will be entertained!

We take the hassle out of trying to find an activity to occupy their time during the school holidays. We know that, chances are, you still have to work and the kids need to do something otherwise they will go stir-crazy!
HOLIDAY WORKSHOP INCLUSIONS
CAREFULLY PLANNED PROGRAM
Designed to ignite each child’s confidence and have them engaged & excited every second of the day! By the end of the workshop your child will have a whole range of skills and combos under the belt and will have learnt a full length routine!
JAM PACKED & ENERGETIC DAY
Filled with craft, games, sports, dance and more! Our program is themed and has activities & craft to match!
ALL MATERIALS SUPPLIED
We supply all the materials they will need for the various activities and anything they make, they get to take home!
PIZZA ORDERED FOR LUNCH
No need to pack lunch for this workshop as we will be ordering cheese pizzas for the children to enjoy! All you will need to pack is a light morning tea and afternoon snack.
NOT JUST DANCE
We have a catwalk run way, movie star craft activities and a super fun photo shoot planned for this term’s holiday workshop. There is something for everyone!

What to Wear: Your child can wear anything they feel comfortable in. Please wear enclosed shoes as we may go outdoors
What to Pack: Just like vacation care, please pack a hat, some morning and afternoon tea (please no nuts or nut products!) and a water bottle!

WHAT DO YOU DO AT THE WORKSHOP?
There is a full range of carefully planned activities to keep it fun and exciting. This particular workshop includes a taster of some of our most popular dance styles including Jazz, Hip Hop and Contemporary and also incorporates craft, games, outdoor play and a pizza party for lunch!
CAN ANYONE JOIN THE WORKSHOP?
We love to welcome new families into our studio and so we encourage any members of the community to join us for Ignite School Holiday Workshop.
You don’t have to be a current student at Future Gems to enrol in the kids school holiday workshop.
DO I HAVE TO PRE-REGISTER OR CAN I JUST TURN UP?
Our workshops are capped so that each child gets to experience the full excitement of the day and so we can get to know each child on a personal level. Therefore we ask that you register and pay prior to the workshop so we know how many are coming and can plan accordingly.
WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT?
This workshop is specifically designed for children in Kindy – Grade 6 at primary school. Since it is a full day, we find that children younger than this, may get tired throughout the day. However, this being said, if you feel your little one is up for the challenge and would be fine participating in a full day workshop, then we would love to welcome them.
