FUN & EXCITING DANCE PROGRAMS
FOR CHILDREN 2YRS+
At Jigsaw Dance we offer a range of different styles from Jazz to Tap, to Ballet & Contemporary, all the way through to our Hip Hop & JFH programs. There is something for everyone. We even offer specialised BBOYS Hip Hop classes, Preschool Dance & Wellness Combos as well as a specifically designed kindergarten dance program.

We are passionate about delivering a wonderful experience to every single child, through a positive, nurturing and non-competitive environment. MINI STARS
0-6 YEARS OLD
Our Mini Stars classes are for the littlest of dancers who are just starting out on their dancing journey. Each of our different levels in the Mini Stars portion of the studio, focus primarily on play-based learning; helping to make dance FUN & EXCITING! Expect lots of colourful props, energetic music and big smiles in these classes.
RISING STARS
KINDY – GRADE 1
As our dancer’s step into the next level of their dance training, they start to build on their skills and are given the opportunity to develop their own creativity and dance style. At this level, we still keep the same props, themes and music they know and love, but give them the tools to gain beautiful technique and a deeper love of dance.
SHOOTING STARS
GRADE 2 – 4
Building from the foundation levels; these classes start to introduce more advanced movement and dance technique, while still running in the same fun and nurturing environment. We utilise goal setting exercises, obstacle courses and partner work to allow students to extend themselves and gain a greater knowledge in the art of dance.
SQUAD STARS
GRADE 5+
Our squad stars make up the upper portion of the studio and in these classes, we see skills progress exponentially! Our dancer’s become more involved in the creative process and also have the option of joining our Assistant Teacher Leadership Program; helping them learn what it takes to be a great dance teacher and leader.
JAZZ
Modern and upbeat, this class is full of fun and laughs and is a great way to stay active while also making new friends. SHOOTING | SQUAD STARS
PRESCHOOL & KINDY COMBO
Designed with the littlest dancers in mind, these classes encourage creative thinking, imagination and confidence in a fun and magical environment. Each week we go on a new and exciting adventure exploring different elements of dance whilst also developing a positive self-esteem and friendships within the classroom. These classes really are a magical journey between the teacher and the dancers and are a perfect stepping stone to beginning your child in the world of dance.
MINI | RISING STARS
BALLET
Ballet forms the basis of all dance technique and has a large focus on body placement, posture and performance quality. Although classes are run in a fun and nurturing environment and students do not sit for exams, the classes are still taught from a set syllabus allowing students to learn the correct technique and terminology.
MINI | RISING | SHOOTING | SQUAD STARS
TAP
This style is all about sounds and rhythm and as such a large focus is placed on timing and musicality, helping to develop their ear for music. At this level the basic fundamentals of tap are taught incorporating a well-rounded warm-up, barre work and combinations to
develop the whole dancer. You’ll have a little tapper on your hands, in now time!
SHOOTING STARS
HIP HOP & JFH
These classes focus on introducing students to modern and urban style dance technique, whilst also focusing on accented movement, isolations and cool tricks. These classes run to trendy and hip music whilst still being fun and age appropriate. If you’ve got a child who loves being super cool and prefers to dance to upbeat and funky music, then this is the class for them!
SHOOTING | SQUAD STARS
CONTEMPORARY
This style explores the abstract art of dance, drawing from numerous genres, whilst focusing largely on expression and story telling. This class incorporates strength, stretching, improvisation and floor work as well as breathing techniques. This class is perfect for those that love to express themselves and use the lyrics of the music, to do so.

RELAXED CONCERTS
Our concerts are run in such a relaxed way, so as to allow the kids to truly enjoy the experience of performing on stage. We are there encouraging the kids every step of the way and also regularly communicate with the audience so you know what is happening too. There is no need for concerts to be stressful with loads of pressure placed on both the dancers’ and parents’… That is why we keep them fun and exciting!
ORGANISED & PROFESSIONAL
It is so important to us that our families are communicated to regularly and informed of everything happening in the studio. From the start of the year, we map out every event and ensure that consistent communication is given to ensure that no one misses out. Every element of the studio, is well thought out and designed to make it as easy for our families as possible.
